Changelog
Signal changelog
Recent product releases, listed newest first.
Preserve data, change visibility
Archiving, hiding, disconnecting and revoking access now preserve stored records and media. Automatic physical cleanup is disabled, and privacy requests are recorded for review rather than silently erasing data.
Story video previews
Saved Story videos now play correctly in mention cards and the post overlay. Existing media is reused; no recapture is needed.
Thirty-day Story viewing
Saved Story media is now viewable for 30 days by default. After that, the preview is unavailable, but the stored media and mention data remain subject to your storage settings and deletion requirements.
Durable media previews
Signal now stores a durable preview of every captured post, so the picture stays with the mention record. A repair path restores eligible missing previews.
API, MCP and signed webhooks
Signal now supports read-only REST access, permissioned MCP writes and signed webhook deliveries with visible retry history.
Usage-rights requests
Start a request from a post, show the creator the proposed terms, and keep their decision with the terms presented.
Shareable campaign reports
Campaigns now combine captured roster posts, engagement and labeled estimates in a report that can be shared without sign-in.
Comments on your content
Review comments by post, then reply, hide or confirm before deleting them from Instagram.
Instagram DMs with reply windows
Read and answer DMs with supported attachments, reactions and Instagram’s reply window visible on each conversation.
The mention list
Tagged posts and Story mentions now arrive in one list with filters, labels, saved views and collections.
